Would like to know if there is much to do in this area. We are thinking of moving down to somewhere in the Mazarron area, but possible it could be a bit of a ghost town, with not much to do?

Well its not a loud place with no kiss me quick hats to be seen anywhere, but its what you make it. We have a great life here and have a good group of friends, I would recommend it to anyone.

When we were thinking of moving over to Spain we were thinking should we move to the Mazarron area - we thought it was a lovely place. In the end when we moved over we moved to Crevillente. It's just the way these things work out sometimes isn't it? We are now living at La Marina and love it amongst the Brits (but saying that there is a good variety of all Nationalities here) !! But as we do not speak Spanish we are happy here. Perhaps we will come for a drive to Mazarron and see how much it's changed since we last visited !

Yes its still open and have a lively entertainments programme. Lots of Brits around also

yes the market tavern is still open but has changed hands many times over the last 8 years i us to work there when it first opened i now own bar la peña on the paseo (sea front) and yes still lots of brits living here.
