Jukebox Legends have a HUGE double celebration!

Top International act Jukebox Legends have had an amazing start to 2012 with both Fiona McLean and Peter Day getting major acclaim in the music industry. In May, Peter won the Best Tribute category of the Coastrider Music Awards as Elvis 2000 with Jukebox Legends also finishing in the top nominated three of the Most Original act category. Now, Jukebox Legends Queen of music Fiona McLean has announced the release of her first new song recording and it is already getting International recognition.

Fiona's song, written by Chas & Dave star Chas Hodges is a fabulous ballad called Last Kiss. Fiona says "When Chas was on tour with us in 2011 he sang this song and announced that it was on his first solo album. I loved it so much that he offered to have a special backing track made for me so that I could record it. I was able to do just that in a top studio in the UK recently and now, with video footage added, it's ready for release. Fiona has an incredible range of music that she sings ranging from Broadway to Country to 60s & power ballads - in fact just about anything!! She has been singing since the age of six and performed in front of audiences up to 3000 in number.

In the World of Tribute acts, Elvis is widely recognised as one of the most copied. Many people love the music and follow the tribute artists that portray the Elvis memory best. Few are better that Elvis 2000 who, through public voting, was nominated into the finals and then judged to win the 2012 Best Tribute award for the Costa Blanca. Peter Day, who is Elvis 2000 says "this is a very special award for me. It was only in the year 2000 that I started doing the Elvis show and indeed singing at all!! Unlike a lot of Elvis tributes I never enter competitions and so to find myself in the finals and then winning simply because of public votes is very nice and I would like to thank all of those that voted for me".
