Lovers of 70s music will be in for a treat when this special tour starts at the beginning of November. It will bring the glitz and splendour of the Glam rock era back in a way that will amaze and, the music and costumes will get the memories back to the days of platform shoes, frilly clothes and painted looks. A time when music changed course and we were there when it happened. David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Freddie Mercury and many more characters from the 70s will be at this great show so book early to be part of the fun!
This tour, a fund raising event for HAH (CB) will star the fabulous Charles Prince and Jukebox Legends (with their 70s show). It will feature in five great venues and tickets are on sale from today.

It will star International singer Patti Ross who has been on some of the top stages around the World. Patti will portray the fabulous hits of Dusty Springfield and Elke Brooks with a voice that will amaze you. Patti has sung with big bands all over the World and on the original Come Dancing TV programme. She has appeared with Cleo Laine, Matt Munro, Elton John, Bruce Forsyth, Sheena Easton, Sacha Distel and many more and has also had an extensive career on the top cruise lines. Earthquake felt on Condado in the early hours of the morning

An earthquake was felt this morning on Condado De Alhama reported at 4.36am with an aftershock registered by residents at 6.05am. Many people on the resort and in the surrounding areas were woken up by the 3.1 earthquake. This earthquake was not enough to do any damage other than rattle some nerves..
Earthquakes in this area are not unusual but usually remain small and for the most part go un-noticed. This one was a little bigger followed by a few aftershocks and loud bangs.
Wanted volunteers for Camposol Clean up 17th September
Calling all residents of Camposol (posted by Bernard Holland from C Sector Gardening Group)
The environmental councillor David Fernandez is asking for our help.
The Murcia regional council are holing a clean up day on Saturday 17th September.
They want as many as possible to help clean up some green areas on Camposol.The C.RA. have highlighted some areas that need attention.
We have a pine forest opposite the golf club and the council have said they will provide seating & tables for this area once it is cleaned up.
The council have said they will supply T-shirts with Sector logos like Green Fingers and they will provide a picnic for all the volunteers.
We are all meeting in the lower car park on B- Sector 9am.

Ans van der Linder and Tina Watts exhibt their art at Mazarron Town Hall
Costa Blanca South
THE Mazarron Mayor inaugurated two art exhibitions on Friday September 9 in the Casas Consistoriales at the Town Hall.
The exhibitions will run from Saturday September 10 until Friday October 7, Monday to Saturday from 1am to 2pm (except the last Saturday of September). Thursday and Friday the exhibit can also be seen from 5pm to 8pm.
The artists are Ans van der Linden with her exibition ‘Los Colores de la Luz’ – ‘The Colours of Light’ – on the second floor and Tina Watts with ‘Esta den el detalle’ - Its in the detail – on the basement.
Ans is Dutch and has lived in Los Vivancos, Murcia, since 2003. She paints mainly in acrylic and it is interesting to see how she uses light and shade to achieve that what she means with “colouring of the light”.
Tina is British and studied at Yeovil College and the Somerset College of Arts and Technology. She has lived in Mazarron for 13 years. She works mainly in watercolours, but has recently started painting with acrylics. Her style is distinctive for its fine detail.
